Saudi Rheumatism Association
In Riyadh today, Association Board Chairman Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Hamza Omair, in the presence of Riyadh Developmental Housing Director Mr. Ibrahim bin Saud Al-Barghash and Association Executive Director Mr. Mohammed Al-Tufaili Al-Zahrani, handed over the first three Developmental Housing units to three beneficiaries. The Association and the program signed a framework agreement last November to provide eligible rheumatism patients with housing units through the Developmental Housing Program, which addresses the housing needs of the most vulnerable social-security families and enables them to own or benefit from suitable housing according to their needs and financial circumstances.
Dr. Mohammed Omair said that the program provides an invaluable service to the most vulnerable social-security families who benefit from the Association's services. He explained that the program supports the Association's development goals and helps rheumatism patients obtain housing units suited to their health needs. He expressed his appreciation to Developmental Housing for this program and commended its effective role in providing housing units to beneficiaries.
In the same context, Riyadh Developmental Housing Director Mr. Ibrahim Al-Barghash said that providing housing units to eligible rheumatism patients in cooperation with the Association aims to unify and coordinate housing efforts under shared objectives. It also enables the parties to exchange information needed to verify beneficiary data. He added that the program is one of the Housing Program initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030.
The Association's Executive Director, Mr Mohammed Al-Tufaili Al-Zahrani, explained that delivering the first batch of housing units to beneficiaries represents a major achievement for the Association. This follows the Association's decision to join the program through the framework agreement signed with the Ministry of Housing to provide housing units for its beneficiaries as part of the social responsibility programs and initiatives launched during the previous period. He confirmed that ten additional housing units would be delivered to other beneficiaries during the following week.
Developmental Housing has programmes and plans to deliver housing units through construction, purchase from the market, or Ministry housing units available across the Kingdom's regions.
