Fifteen Housing Units Handed Over to Rheumatism Association Patients in Riyadh
Association Executive Director Mr. Mohammed Al-Tufaili Al-Zahrani handed over 15 new housing units in Riyadh's Dhahrat Laban neighborhood to eligible rheumatism patients from the most vulnerable social-security families, under the framework agreement between the Association and the Developmental Housing Program. Al-Tufaili said the partnership aims to provide eligible beneficiaries of the Association's services with housing suited to their needs and financial circumstances. It forms part of a portfolio of social responsibility programs and initiatives launched by the Association in recent years. He praised the Ministry of Housing, represented by Developmental Housing, for launching initiatives that have brought about genuine social change. Providing 15 housing units to eligible recipients makes a substantial contribution to housing stability, relieves people in need of the burden and difficulties of rent, and positively affects the health of rheumatism patients, He described receiving a home as a dream for the patients and said fulfilling it had fundamentally changed the recipients' lives, bringing smiles to their faces and reassurance to their hearts. Al-Tufaili thanked the Minister of Housing and the Developmental Housing Program's staff for this generous initiative and their efforts to support the most vulnerable families. The Association has now delivered 36 housing units to eligible recipients in cooperation with Developmental Housing and plans to deliver more units across the Kingdom in the coming days in collaboration with the program's regional branches.
Developmental Housing delivers homes through three mechanisms: construction, purchases from available market stock, or existing units. The program is one of the Housing Program's initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030.
